Three months after two catastrophic earthquakes struck Türkiye and Syria, Princes Hill Student Council has worked hard to put together a fundraiser for Red Cross efforts in those countries. Our community enjoyed a dinner, music, raffle and live and silent auction.
The Türkiye and Syria Fundraiser
Thanks so much to the PHSC community for coming and supporting this night. We were able to raise almost seventeen thousand dollars, a tremendous credit to the PHSC community’s generosity! Eighty percent of the money donated will be donated to the Red Cross’s Türkiye and Syria earthquake appeal and the remaining money will be donated to other student council initiatives.
A special thanks to parent, Jessie Singh, whose restaurant Horn Please provided the catering free of charge, to the small businesses and artists in the Princes Hill community for providing generous donations for our auctions and raffle and to the student bands who performed.
PHSC would also like to thank those who made donations via the Trybooking donations link, buying tickets to the event and by making generous contributions to the auctions and raffles.
Thanks to our anonymous donors and... in no particular order
