A Message From the School Nurse

EVPS Short Stay Unit (SICK BAY)

Welcome back to all families at EVPS!  We continue to organise all our student’s health care needs for the year. Late last year your child if they’re known to have a health alert was sent home relevant medical/action plans to be completed by their medical practitioner. If you need a new form please come to the office. This is a timely reminder to return them completed to the office as soon as possible.

  • Starting in 2023, we will be introducing a NEW Medication Authority form for medications to be administered at school. Please know that where ever possible medication should be scheduled for outside school hours.
  • If your child requires medication to be given at school, this must be provided to the main office/sickbay, with a signed medication authority form completed by the Parent. Medication must be clearly labelled with your child’s name, grade, be in original packing and prescription as required.
  • REMINDER: Please provide a change of underwear and bottoms for your child in their school bag in the case of an emergency and your child needs a change. The office has a very limited supply and cannot accommodate for everyone. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your prompt attention

Keep well

Catherine (School Nurse)&Iness (First Aid Officer)
