Premier’s Reading Challenge

I am excited to announce the winner of the Premier’s Reading Challenge participation draw was Sierra Lansley-Irving. Congratulations to all students involved your certificates are on their way.

Borrowing

Borrowing has now ceased for 2019. Please return all books by Friday 6th December. Notices will be sent out in week 9 to notify students of outstanding loans. Next year the library will run a number of initiatives to reward students who regularly borrow and return books. We have such a well stocked library at Guyra Central School I am sure everyone can find books that interest them.

Summer Reading challenge

This year the library is running a summer reading challenge. The challenge is open to all students, teachers and parents/carers. To enter you need to cross off all the activities on the challenge sheet and return the sheet to the entry box in the library by the end of Week 2 2020 Friday 7th February. There will be prizes related to reading of course. Simply print the accompanying challenge sheet of collect one from the library and start reading. The challenge kicks off on December 19 2019. Happy reading.

Tablet Robotics.

This term Guyra Central school had use of the STEM T4L Tablet Robotics Kit. Students were able to explore the basics of robots and coding.
