Chaplain's Corner 2022

"Hope is like a bird that senses the dawn and carefully starts to sing while it is still dark" - Unknown Author

Making memories is something that refreshes my soul.  I have a passion that no matter the season I am in that I pause to make "core" memories. It resets me and helps me to remember what is truly important.  Through seasons of loss, heartache, stress or joy to  meaningful times with those who are important matter the most.

Each of us need to remember that it is who we are, not what we do that makes us valuable, that gives us our worth.  Our World seems to be on an endless treadmill at times of work and deadlines, activities and events.  There are always constant moving parts and sometimes those parts need rest.  Of late I am finding peace in the pause again.  In the stillness of stopping amongst it all.  We all have a different way of finding rest and peace. How I pause:

  1. Admiring nature - sunsets and flowers,
  2. Exercise, walk, chat with a friend and sometimes for a cause,
  3. Family, friends, Community and a good laugh at funny reels.

Chaplain Assembly Coffee Catch up - this Friday (week 3)

It is wonderful to see so many taking advantage of the free coffee and tea.  Stop by even if you are not attending assembly this week.  The community and conversation are refreshing. Until next time...
