Can you help? We need to replace the industrial sized PVC pipe off-cuts that we have had in the sandpit- these are fabulous for the creative soil engineers in our sandpit. It is the place to be. Look at how many students continue to be in there on a daily basis.

Term 4 Wellbeing Focus

The explicit social and emotional focus for students in term 4 is problem-solving. Problem solving is an important part of children’s coping repertoire. The school context can provide a number of learning opportunities to develop these skills. Students will participate in activities to support their critical and creative thinking skills, and have opportunities to apply them to different scenarios including personal, social and ethical dilemmas. One of the more discussed problems in families today is screen time vs family time. The ESafety Commissioner provides some practical solutions and advice to this and other technology related queries facing families today.

How did you feel about coming back to school on Sunday before you came back?

56WR- Annie B	I was nervous at the start and I was thinking I had forgotten how to be normal because we had been in remote learning for so long, but when I arrived at school I realised and said to myself “ trust your gut all the time not your head Annie.”	Now I am so happy and confident at school again so my nerves just went away.
56 WR- Lily B	On the Sunday night before the first day back at school I had many mixed feelings. Excited, nervous, overwhelmed, but mostly thrilled. I was really nervous but within 10 seconds of chatting to my friends and teachers it just clicked back to normal.	It feels AMAZING to be back.
56WR - Finlay O	On the Sunday night before the first day back at school I felt very excited and nervous to see my friends again.	Now I am very happy and excited to do more fun things!
56WR- Aarav G	Last Sunday night was a bit different to a Sunday evening in remote learning. Instead of watching movies I had to go to bed at 9pm sharp. I felt excited to go see my friends again but I was nervous that they wouldn’t remember me. Monday morning when I first went back to school I was relieved to see my friends and knowing that they remembered me.	Now I am happy that we are finally back at school and I hope we don’t go back into remote learning anytime soon.
FZF - Casey F	On Sunday I missed school and I wanted to go back on that day!	I love school because it’s fun and you learn so many things.
FZF - Sienna P	On Sunday I was excited to see all of my friends again and do some more learning.	I feel really good because now we can get more smart.
