Principal's News

Dear Families

A Word from Wendy

Congratulations

It is with great with pleasure that I inform the School community that we have appointed Jodie Marziano as the Deputy Principal/Learning and Teaching Leader. I am looking forward to working with Jodie and continuing the learning journey of our students. Congratulations Jodie.

Christmas Angels

Well it is now time to think about our Christmas family activity. Starting week 5, we will stop normal homework and ask families to create a Christmas angel together. They will be displayed in the foyer and in the windows of my office and Jodie's office so when you walk past you will be able to see them.  Sarah Kimball will send out all the details of the activity.

World Cleaners Day

Yesterday was world cleaners day and I would just like to say a heartfelt thank you to Tania Cardamone who is working long hours during this COVID 19 pandemic to ensure our school is following the cleaning protocols as per Government and CEM requirements. Thanks Tania and I hope you enjoy your little gift from us (adult cordial!!)

Kiss and Go

Just a reminder parents that the Kiss and Go purpose is to drop your children off without getting out of the car. Can you please follow this guideline as we are having a build up of traffic waiting to use the area.

Summer Uniform

As from next week can you please make sure your children are in correct summer uniform, including a St Brigid's Hat. The exception to this is school shoes if you do not want to buy them online.  Wearing our uniform correctly shows pride in our school and the children look so good when wearing the uniform as it should be.  Please make sure all items are clearly labelled.

Guess the teacher Competition

The staff had a competition last week of guessing the St Brigid's Staff from their Foundation photos. We thought it would be a nice idea to get the parents and students to ‘have a go’ and try and guess who's who! If you would like to try your luck can you forward your guess’ to me via email:

Good luck and I may have purchased a little prize for the winning family/ies.  See St Brigid's News and Events for the photos and no laughing that a number of them are in black and white!!!

Assembly - 1/2LY

Today we enjoyed our 1/2LY Virtual Assembly.  We have attached it here so our families can enjoy it too.

School Fees

School fees are now overdue unless you have a specialised payment plan in place. Families on direct debit payments please review your last statement to ensure that your fees are paid in full by end of year.  Thank you to those families who have made recent payments.

Currently the school is in transition to new accounting and student data software. During this period receipts will not be generated and automatically emailed to you. Please contact Michele Wain 95804518 or email mwain@sbmord.catholic.edu.au if you have any queries regarding outstanding amounts or payments.

Together in partnership,
