CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

KS Liturgy

This week Friday, 11 September, KS will be celebrating a Liturgy focused on the theme of Spring. The liturgy will begin at 9:30am and families are welcome to attend. Please ensure visitors sign the register when entering the church and are seated 1.5m apart from other families.

Sacrament of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation has been set for Sunday 20 September. With Covid-19 regulations limiting the number of people being able to attend a religious ceremony, we have decided to hold two Confirmation Masses on Sunday 20 September.

  • 5/6GD & 5/6W at 2:00pm
  • 5/6B & 5/6S at 3:30pm

There will be a limit of 5 family members who can attend the Mass with their child as we follow Covid-19 regulations for the Sacred Heart Parish.

THE SPIRITUAL ROSARY PILGRIMAGE:

A Biblical Journey through the life of Christ with Mary.

Tens of thousands of people from over 90 countries will be participating in this first-ever, online rosary event.

The Spiritual Rosary Pilgrimage will go for 4 weeks, include 20 plus speakers and 5 keynote talks. It will start on 8 September, the Birthday of the Blessed Mother and finish on 7 October, the Feast of the Holy Rosary.

Our world is in need of prayer more than ever. With so much confusion, despair, loss of faith, loss of purpose, loneliness, anger, distractions and more, we need God to hear our prayer.

St Padre Pio famously said that:

“The rosary is the weapon for these times”.

That was over 50 years ago! Imagine how much more important it is today.
