PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Mrs Jillian Rainger

In your prayers

A number of our families are going through really difficult times with illness and death. Please keep our community of families in your thoughts and prayers. As a school community we are striving to be compassionate and empathetic. Following Jesus' message to care and reach out is important to us. Please encourage your children to reach out and to think of others. Thank you to our P and F who has begun a care fund to help families in need.

School Survey

Thank you to our families who have completed our annual survey. We have had around 120 replies so far. If you would like to have your say please complete the survey before it closes tomorrow. If you did not receive an email the survey can be reached via this link. https://www.research.net/r/HolyTrinityInverellPARENT2020

Personal Plans

If your child has a personal plan and you were unable to come to Family Conferences to discuss their progress please look in their bag over the next few days. A copy of the plan is being sent home for you to look at and keep. Please return the signed slip so we know you have received and read the plan.

HELP

Are you available to volunteer this Friday in the school canteen? We are short on workers and volunteers and may need to limit our menu on Friday if we can't get help. Please contact Gabe on gadams@arm.catholic.edu.au if you can help.

Being ready to learn

Having good night's sleep, having breakfast before leaving home, and bringing the requirements for the day at school are all important steps in being ready to learn. Fruit, lunch and a snack, a water bottle, and a hat set students up for success. We are happy to help families who are finding it difficult to manage organising these things. Please send me an email if you would like support to have your children ready for learning.

Student Safety

The school carpark is not to be used at pick up and drop off times by families. On many days there is only enough parking for staff and it is unsafe for students to be walking in the carpark. Please observe the signage in the carpark.

Year 5 and 6 Excursions

Due to the ongoing difficulties with COVID 19 it has been decided to cancel our Year 5 and 6 excursions. A note went home last week to our families of these students.

2021 enrolments

To help with our planning and budgeting for 2021 could you please advise me if your child will not be returning to Holy Trinity School before the end of Term 3. My email is

Newsletter update

We are moving to a fortnightly newsletter with a slight change in format. Our next newsletter will be in Week 10. We hope by it being fortnightly we can reduce the repetitive nature of the content. Updates to events or necessary  information will be posted on Facebook and COMPASS.
