Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year break. 

Fees

The voluntary school fee paperwork will be sent home shortly.  Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary.

In today’s environment we rely on parent contributions to supplement what is provided by the government to provide the level of education you expect for your children.  Every effort is made to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum so that it remains affordable for all parents.  

The ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer.

Camps, Sports & Excursions Funding

If you hold a current Government concession card, please contact me at the office so I can apply for funding for your child.  Each child who is eligible to receive CSEF will receive $125.00 to go towards any costs associated with camps, sports and excursions.

Uniform

If any parents are still requiring uniform please contact myself or Callie Leese our uniform co-ordinator.

Facebook pages

The school has two facebook pages.  One is called Cavendish Primary School which will be used for advertising events etc, this is open to the public.  The other is a private facebook page called Cavendish PS Community.  If you would like to join this page please click on the link and we will approve your request.  This page will be used for student photos etc. for privacy.

Afternoon pick-up/bus changes

Please contact the school during the day if there is a change to your child's afternoon pick-up or bus transportation or send in a handwritten note with your child that day.

Contact Details

If any families have had any of your contact details change since last year, please provide me with the new details.  It is very important that we keep this information up to date.

Student Medication

All students who require medication administered at school are required to have a Medication Authority Form filled out by parents.  These are located at the front of the office near the sign in/out book

Privacy

Our school collects, uses, discloses and stores student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy.

Lunch Orders

Families are welcome to order lunch for their child from the Bridge Cafe up until 11am on Fridays.  Lunch will be delivered to school at 1pm each Friday. A copy of the list of food available is attached below.
