What's been happening in STEAM

As Term 2 draws to a close we look back on some of the achievements of our communities in STEAM. In this issue of the Golden Sun, we will focus on the Xenica and Ulysses communities.

Xenica (below) have further consolidated their understanding of the basic rules for the game Chess. We have been also practicing our skills in Chess Club which runs on a Wednesday at lunchtime. Students from all communities are welcome to attend :)

The Ulysses community (below) had the opportunity to present their STEM-based creations to solve real-world problems during Showcase Week. Thank you to all the parents who attended the showcase, and a big thank you to Stocklands who generously provided the Lego WeDo kits and the National Theatre Company's term one incursion entitled Showdown at Waste World.
