Time fly's when your having fun and getting engaged in Residential activities. Term two has been busy again with students being involved with training and playing in their sport of passion. Students are regularly playing Hockey, Soccer, Netball and AfL. Mountain bike riding is also a great activity for many of our students with regular rides after school. Social riding with the local Monkey Rock Mountain Bike on Wednesday afternoons is a hit with the hard-core riders.
Excursions for term two include:
Hay river fishing after school on Mondays when the weather suits and the black bream are biting.
Pemberton Mountain bike downhill day out took place on 20th May with 8 very keen riders taking on the challenging trails. Thanks to Monkey Rock Mountain bike club for the loan of their bike trailer.
Year 12 Boys had an evening in Albany (24th May) for some downtime, pool swim, pizza and a movie.
AFL Dockers v Richmond on June10th will be a hit for those lucky students attending – priority being given to Year 12/11 students for this trip. Excursion details to come soon. A weekend trip to Perth finishing with shopping at the DFO.
Tuesday evening Swing Dancing, 9 Students having attended two sessions with another one happening next week . Its great value at $5 each.
Students Health and wellbeing
Students that are unwell will spend the day in dorm with staff monitoring them and providing medical attention and meals. If your child is ill the next day and it's possible for you to collect them that would be appreciated. Rest up at home and return when they are ready for school, farm, sports and maybe some yoga!
Leave for closed weekend
Please put in your leave requests so transport arrangements with the College are in place. We close Friday June 2nd at 2pm. Returning after 2pm on Monday June 5th. Remember to look through lost property clothing in the laundry before you go, unclaimed casual clothing will be taken to a local Op Shop on June 6th.
