Active Club
A big well done to everyone who showed up to this week of Active Club, the sun was shining which was lovely! It was great to see many new students and families participating and joining in. I look forward to to some bigger numbers next week.

Division Interschool Sports
A big congratulations to the following teams for attending the Division Interschool Sports and representing BHPS on Tuesday the 19th and Wednesday the 20th of July. I was so very proud to hear the wonderful feedback from teachers and other schools on our students, their positivity and sportsmanship during their games.
- Mixed Netball (won 3, lost 4)
- Girls Soccer (won 1, lost 2)
- Boys Soccer (won 1, lost 2)
- Mixed AFL (came 3rd overall)
Please note: If your child is unable to attend a sporting event please email Taylah Russell or their classroom teacher ASAP to ensure we can replace your child. Unfortunately, if we do not have enough students in a team this can cause the teams to have to forfeit.
Senior Hooptime
A big well done to the 53 students who attended the Senior Hooptime Day at Dandenong Stadium on the 21st of July. Each student did a fantastic job supporting their team and trying their very best on the day. A huge thank you to all of our helpers; Maddison Butler, Victoria Butler, David Rout, Kobi Rout, Jess Williams, Peter Baker, Kathryn Powell, Karen Nagel, Jackie Gould and Kelly Chapman. We cannot run these days without you. An even bigger thank you to Miss T and Mrs Baker for attending on the day and assisting with coaching our wonderful teams. What a day!
Junior Hooptime
It has been wonderful seeing the Grade 3/4 student’s attend Hooptime trials during late last term and early this term. Their effort and dedication to the trials was fantastic to see. A big congratulations to the 44 students who made a team. All team lists are on the Gymnasium door. To all the students who missed out this year, I look forward to seeing your trial again next year! Junior Hooptime will be held on the 25th of August at Dandenong Stadium. Thank you also to Mrs Foster and Miss Hindmarsh for helping during the trials.
