A message from the Principal

END OF TERM 1

I would like to wish all students, staff and parents a very Happy Easter and a safe holiday.  Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Term 1.  I am looking forward to my four-day trip to Port Douglas during the holidays.  Please note that students will be dismissed at 2:30 PM on Friday March 31st.  See you all in Term 2 on Tuesday 18th April.

PUPIL FREE DAY 

MONDAY 24TH APRIL

Students are not required to attend school on Monday 24th April as it is a Curriculum Day for teachers and the inaugural ‘Learners as Thinkers’ Conference at Kingswood Primary.  Kingswood will once again show case the work we have been doing as a 'Thinking Culture' school as well as Habits of Mind.  We are anticipating 200 educators to join us for this conference.  Please note that ANZAC Day is on the following day, Tuesday 25th April.  We hope you enjoy the long weekend with your family.  To help prepare for the conference there will be no assembly on the first Friday of Term 2 (21st April).

ASBESTOS REMOVAL

SATURDAY 1ST APRIL

There will be no access to the school grounds or buildings on Saturday 1st April from 1:00PM due to asbestos removal in Unit C (Visitor’s toilet block).
