PSA Athletics Carnival

Well done to the students who represented Trinity at last week’s PSA Athletics Carnival. Four weeks of hard training had the spirits high, and after finishing fifth in 2021, a top four finish was the goal for the team. Winning six out of the first eight hurdles’ events was the perfect start to the day and set the tone for the remainder of the event.

In the end, a fourth place finish was an excellent result and hopefully is the beginning of some very strong years of Athletics at Trinity. Well done to Scotch for winning the Alcock Shield for the fifth straight year.

SSWA Golf Championship

On Wednesday 14 September, six Trinity students attended the SSWA Golf championships hosted at Hartfield Golf club. The teams were Riley Gott (Yr 10), Jonah Adamson (Yr 10) and Rhys DeCelis (Yr 10) as Team 1. Ben Cranny (Yr 10), Evan Alderslade (Yr 10) and Chris Candeais (Yr 9) as Team 2.

Both Riley and Ben had 35 points in windy conditions with Riley picking up second place in the Year 10 age group on a count back. He was also recognised for his recent trip to Melbourne representing the state. Well done to each of the members for their efforts on the day!
