Year 10 Pathway Class visits

Last week we were fortunate to take our Pathway classes down to the Swan Hill Police Station for a tour and talk about opportunities within the Police Force. We are very grateful to Andrew and Tania for helping us arrange this and making time to provide very informative sessions to all students.

Further visits this term are planned to attend the Swan Hill District Health Education Unit and Swan Hill Youth Inc.

White Card Training

Any student considering a work experience placement on a building site must have undertaken industry training to obtain their White Card. This is a whole day course that costs $150.00 per student. A training day has been organised for interested students on Tuesday, March 14th. Names and payment must be provided to the Front Office by Thursday, March 9th.

HMAS Cerberus Open Day

Defence Force Recruiting is offering students a chance to explore the Navy at an upcoming Open Day. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the trade, communications, IT & intelligence or leadership roles available in the Navy.  Learn more about the training and ongoing opportunities for growth and development and see if a career in the Navy is for you. 

Registrations at www.defencejobs.gov.au/events/event/Y1UOYLE  are encouraged but not essential.
