Health & PE Day 2019
We are very excited to announce that Health and PE Day will be held on Wednesday October 23rd. The sports captains have planned a lot of exciting and interesting ways to get involved in the day – we hope to see as many of you involved as possible!
Before school – 7:45 – 8:30
Fitness class and healthy breakfast
Get your day off to a good start with a strength and flexibility session in the gym along with a healthy breakfast. The early morning will be worth it as you will be feeling energised and refreshed for the day ahead.

Guess the number of balls in the sports bag.
Come find us on the canteen deck and test your observational skills by predicting the number of balls that have been packed into our sports bag. The closest guess will win a canteen voucher.

NETFIT – netball courts
We are very excited to run a NETFIT session for the first time ever at MGC. NETFIT combines the sport of netball with fun, excitement, music and a high intensity fitness session. Places are limited to 100 participants, so sign up quickly.

MGC success at the U15 Australian Lacrosse Championships
Huge congratulations to Mim Suares-Jury Yr8 and Tara Gilmartin Yr 9 who were members of the Victorian U15 "Fire" team that last weekend won the Australian Championships in Adelaide. There were ten teams competing for the title and the final game was a ripper - well done to you both!
