What's Happening 

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

Not everyone who has contact with children needs a Working with Children Check. Under the Worker Screening Act 2020 (the Act), only people who are doing child-related work (and aren’t otherwise exempt under the Act) need a Check. This applies to both paid and volunteer workers.

You can now apply for a check fully online. The interactive tool will explain what you will need and what you will do to complete the process. Included are two websites you can log in to for further information. Both websites work in partnership with one another and achieve the same outcome.
