AIC Track and Field

COORDINATOR

COLLEGE APP – it is essential that all families have access to Track & Field updates from the College APP. Information is being posted on the APP today for Thursday’s competition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • As we only have two competitions, all boys are expected to attend this one as the priority.
  • Football/Rugby training will be missed – coaches have been aware of this competition for a while (has been on the College calendar all year) and were given the option to change their training session.
  • Students will miss this training session and I have told coaches this.
  • NO HIGH JUMP – due to COVID restrictions at QSAC
  • No 200m or 1500m at this meet but our runners will compete in other events and use this as additional training
  • Number of competitors per event – due to time, there are some restrictions on the number of students allowed to compete, so boys should only compete in events they are training for. Our event coaches will inform the boys of this.

BUS TRANSPORT

  • Bus transport:
    • Departs straight after school at 3:25pm from the Hayden Oval bus stop
    • Returns at approximately 8:15pm to the Hayden Oval bus stop – all parents are asked to please be on time so that staff can also head home as quickly as possible. Any major delays will be notified through the COLLEGE APP.
  • All students are to get changed at the McMahon oval grandstand as soon as school ends.
  • As no parents are allowed to attend the venue at QSAC, students will need to travel back on the bus.
  • A survey has been sent out for students to complete ASAP, which will assist with our bus bookings.
