Catholic Identity

PRAYER

Next week our Baptised Catholic students in Year 4 will be receiving the Eucharist for the very first time. The Catechism of church reminds us of the importance of this sacrament by explaining that is; “the source and summit of the Christian life”.  Through the Eucharistic we encounter God’s presence in personal and profound ways.  As the Body of Christ, the Eucharist sends us on a mission to help transform our families, our communities, and our world.  Mother Teresa reflected that in an ever changing world, the Eucharist is a reminder of God’s unchanging love for us.  We ask families to join us in praying for our Year 4s who are preparing to receive their First Holy Communion, next week.
