We have been honing our skills at the lunchtime Chess Club. It is a place where students can learn to play chess, hone their tactics and play socially. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned player, there is always something new to learn!

Chess is a game of skill that develops memory, problem-solving, creativity and logic. At the Chess Club, we have been learning about the ways the pieces move and have been developing strategies for our chess openings. It is important to control the centre and develop pieces at the beginning of the game.
