.Remembrance Day

As part of Heart Learning, we learned all about the significance of Remembrance Day and made poppies to wear at the special Remembrance Day Liturgy.

On 11/11 we gathered as a school community for a Remembrance Liturgy. It was very special and we thank Bonnie (our community hub leader) for sharing her musical talent by playing the trumpet for both The Last Post and The Rouse.

Also on this special day, our Year 5 students attended the Remembrance Service at Kilburn RSL. We thank them for their hospitality as we rebuild our community connections since Covid restrictions.

ADVENT

This weekend (Sunday 27th November) we celebrate the beginning of the Church’s liturgical year and the beginning of ADVENT. This exciting time is all about preparing our hearts and homes for Christ's birth in the world as it is today. It is a time for Catholics to pray, reflect and give to charity, as we remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
