PSW Store
In these every unusual times we at PSW are trying to stay ahead of the game to ensure all your new and current families have the best information possible to assist them when it comes to trusting their School wear supplier.
I am delighted then to launch, the below link from our PSW Croydon store, which can be used for your online information nights and also add to your School website. We have left no stone unturned in ensuring all our staff are fully trained in Covid19 protocol, and look forward to welcoming your School Community back to our Store in the upcoming Back to School period.

From the Chaplain
Welcome back everyone! It has been so nice catching up with people as I walk around the school ground and have a chat to all the smiling faces. Ok – well smiling eyes at least. It's amazing how important social connection is for us all and when we have been isolated for such a long time how much we long to connect with others. I felt a bit like Tom Hanks in the movie Castaway where he was at the point of talking to a ball named Wilson while he battled with being all alone on an island. Now things begin get back to "normal", whatever that means, I hope you find the time to kiss the new born baby you haven't met, celebrate a birthday you missed or even visit some family members you haven't seen for a while. My caution, don't rush into the busyness again but take time to reflect on your own new normal and set a pace that is enjoyable and sustainable.
On a side not we have this amazing event we are running, and we would love your support. Two of our weekly prizes have been won already but there are still more prizes to come and an inspirational movie that comes with it. So, jump on board and please click on the link for more info.

The Dandelion Wishes Celebration Gala
The annual Gala at Crown was not able to be held this year. Instead we are hosting the Dandelion Wishes Celebration at Home which will be hosted by Channel Nine and live streamed into people’s homes.
The event will be like a mini Gala and include entertainment, patient stories, a silent auction and much more. All funds raised at the event will go toward purchasing equipment for the new Children’s Emergency Department due to open in Clayton next year.
It would be wonderful if you could promote this event to your school staff and community. I’ve attached a poster and a sponsor prospectus should you know any companies who may be interested in supporting the event.
You can find out more and book tickets at https://dandelionwishes.org.au/

On behalf of Bayswater Junior Football Club we would like to pass on an invitation to students of all ages to attend our upcoming “Reconnect and Register” event. As a Club we value the importance of kids in the community living active and healthy lifestyles so have been working tirelessly to set up a huge 2021 season!
Details of this event can be found on our flyer which is attached.
Wishing all your school community a safe and smooth finish to the term, and thank you for your time to assist us.
Sherbrooke Little Athletics
Due to the unfortunate circumstances this year with COVID, our summer season was delayed to start, and will now be starting next week, from November 14.
Sherbrooke little athletics club is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers. Our mission is to provide fun and fitness in a very family friendly environment for girls and boys aged 6 to 16 years. We keep our fees flexible and at a minimum to be accessible to all. We welcome new members and two week trials for those that aren’t sure but want to have a go.
The Sunflower Effect
As part of our Be Kind Maroondah campaign, Council is encouraging Maroondah residents to join The Sunflower Effect project and help spread hope and brightness into our streets.
Sunflowers are the symbol of hope - all it takes is one seed, one thoughtful act, one kind word to bring brightness into someone else’s world. Therefore we are encouraging Maroondah residents to ‘Be a sunflower in someone’s day’ and plant sunflower seeds in their front garden or pot to bring some hope and brightness into their street.
Free packets of sunflower seeds are available to all Maroondah residents throughout November and can be picked up at Council’s customer service centres and Maroondah community houses. We are also encouraging people to collect sunflower seeds for their neighbours and drop them into their letter boxes so they too can plant the seeds in their front garden giving us streets of bright and cheerful sunflowers.
We would love you to share this message with the members of your organisation or group.
If you’d like any further information please do not hesitate to give me on 9294 5737.
