School Uniform

As we ease all students back into school we are renewing our focus on getting all students in correct school uniform.  Our kids are lucky, our school uniform is fresh and comfortable with a range of options for students depending on their preferences.

On Thursday and Friday this week the Principal Team has been conducting uniform checks and we are very impressed with the large number of students who are in correct school uniform.  We do work with teenagers, and we know that many will try to push the boundaries and this has been evident among who are not in uniform.  This week every student who is out of uniform received a uniform pass without consequence.  We have posted an Out of Uniform record on Compass for all these students for parent information.

The common issues we found this week were:

  • Non uniform jumpers
  • Black shoes that are not leather
  • Non uniform pants
  • Black socks
  • Incorrect PE uniform

As of next week students who are out of uniform who do not follow the correct process will receive a lunchtime detention.

Uniform Passes

Students who are out of uniform should be able to present a note from a parent to one of the Assistant Principals before Home Group.  We will give them a uniform pass and record the details on Compass.  No further action will be taken.

Students who do not have a note should come to the Assistant Principals office.  We will give them a pass and they will receive a lunchtime detention for the same day.

Teachers will be asked to monitor students during the day and to sen anyone out of uniform for a pass.  this will all be recorded on Compass to allow parents to understand the uniform situation for their child.

Uniform Shop

The school uniform shop is fully stocked for any additional items you may need, particularly now that it is so cold.  Uniform Shop is open on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
