Knox City Council Candidate

My name is Pamela Anderson and I am running to represent you on Knox City Council.

I have lived with my family in Rowville for almost a decade. My eldest was in the first group enrolled at Haven, she started when it was called Crest and my youngest is due to graduate this year. Haven has a special place in our family, it’s the second home to our girls.

We’ve got a great community in Rowville and Lysterfield and I want to help build on its successes with the help of the community. Early education is the foundation for learning, it requires as much support from local government as possible and Haven is no exception. 

I have seen how other councils support their community and private early learning centres. These centres are given the resources and tools they need to enhance the learning and support of their community.

From speaking to many of you, you’ve told me you want a council that gives you a fair go and a local Councillor that pays attention and listens to you all year round — not just during elections.

With your support I will fight for:

-          Low council rates. No hidden charges.

-          Our local businesses, who need help now more than ever.

-          Appropriate development for our neighborhood.

-          Local sports clubs and local services.

-          Better mental health support for our youth and seniors.

-          Improving local roads and public transport.

-          A voice for the residents impacted by the Quarry

I ask for your support to bring honesty, integrity, and transparency and to fight for our community’s best interests. We deserve a representative who listens to the community and acts with locals in mind.
