Professional Development and our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

Over the past 4 months our team have been involved in ongoing professional development.  This has meant that we have also started to really reflect on our programs and practices.  Both personal and professional reflections are important to help each of us look deeper into ourselves, and also be able to understand where we are going both as an individual and a team.

With this in mind we then move to ensure all of this transfers into our QIP.  A Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is a document that identifies the service's goals for quality improvement and notes some strategies for achieving those goals. It helps everyone at the service to stay focused on the improvements and on implementing the strategies needed to achieve the goals.

Around the service, we have commenced making children's learning more visible. This will become more evident as we progress over the next few months.  We are currently focusing on ensuring that the Centre is involved as a whole and then we will be asking for further input from all our families and community.
