Interschool athletics

Congratulations to all our students who recently competed at the regional Interschool Athletics in Aberfeldie. We had placegetters in eight individual and relay events.

They were:

Jasmine Russell (Year 7) 3rd in Hurdles;

Tom Glover (Year 7) 2nd in 1500m and 3rd in 800m;

Brody Vorano (Year 11) 2nd in High Jump and 3rd in Long Jump;

Nick Richmond (Year 12) 2nd in Shot Put and 2nd in Discus and the

Year 11 Boys 4 X 100m Relay of Marko Jankovic, Tsar Mitchener, Taradon Yongpadcha and Brody Vorano finished 2nd.

Tom Glover qualified for the 1500m State finals at the Victorian Athletics Centre where he competed with distinction.

Inter-house sport

In Intra-school sport news congratulations to all teams that competed in the inter-house lunchtime soccer competition run over the last 2 weeks of Term 3. The successful teams were Red House in Juniors and Blue House in Seniors.

Regional finals

Finally, good luck to the following teams who have won the right to compete at the Western Metropolitan Regional finals in the next week or so by previously winning our district competitions:
