Acting Principal's Report 

I acknowledge the First Peoples of our nation and the traditional custodians of the land on which our beautiful school stands, The Wathaurong people. I pay my respects to the Wathaurong people and acknowledge their contribution and care of the land and waters on which our school community works and lives. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge and thank all First Nations people within the Miners Rest School Community.

Walk-a-thon and Fete

It was such a delight to see so many families join us for the Walk-a-thon and Fete last Friday. A special thank you to our families who supported us with donations for stalls and those who joined us to support walking and purchasing of goodies in the afternoon. Monies raised will be spent to support our students at school. An announcement will be made in the coming weeks to advise our school community as to what the funds will put towards. Stay tuned and thank you once again for your support and generosity.
