WELCOME BACK - INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND THANK YOU HOST FAMILIES.

Welcome back to all our international students.

This year has been incredibly challenging for all, but it has been particularly challenging for our international students.

Consider for a moment, the challenges our international students have faced this year.

Most of our students arrived in Australia at the end of January this year to either commence or resume their education at Carwatha College P-12. Within a couple of months, Australia went into hard COVID -19 lockdown, preventing all of our students from returning home to their families. Most of our international students were forced to navigate this world-wide pandemic away from their loved ones. Fortunately, Carwatha College has an incredible group of host families who supported our students through this difficult time.

The college would like to thank all host families from keeping our students safe and providing them with incredible support. We would also like to congratulate our international students for handling this extraordinarily difficult period with courage and maturity. We are all very proud of you.
