Art Report P-12

Art In Science Competition

Our first Art In Science Competition was held over remote learning as a fun activity that students could engage with while working from home.

We received lots of entries online from students in Prep, all the way to Year 12, and in all categories; photography, drawing/painting, and multimedia.

We have been so impressed by the calibre of work sent to the Science and STEM teachers that we needed help judging! The Science and STEM Team would like to thank Angela Fourie and Hannah Whittaker of Year 12 for putting aside the time between studying for Year 12 exams to judge, making the tough calls on who would win first and second place in each category.

All winners received their certificates and prizes during class last week, and are should be so proud of themselves.

To see all of the entries, please head on over to S-Block where photography and drawing work is on display on the windows. You can also head on over to the Library where the multimedia entries, as well as the drawing and photography winners are on display. Of course, you can also check out the wonderful work on our School’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

If you see the students who participated in the yard at recess or lunch, make sure to give them a wave of congratulations!
