UPDATING PARENT DETAILS
A big thank you to all the families who responded to the email we sent out regarding updating parental and guardian details. Any information that is shared with the school is protected by the Department of Education privacy act. Information regarding Family Occupation (SFO) and Student Family Education (SFE) data reported are used to calculate the Equity Funding (Social Disadvantage) for the following year. Contact details allow us to be able to get in touch with you when we need to, for example, in the case of an emergency.
FAQ
Q: Why does the school need to know what medication is given at home?
A: In the case of an emergency, the involved student's details are printed and given to the emergency workers eg Ambulance or Hospital. This can affect any treatment or medication given.
Children can also develop a reaction, or feel unwell after any medication.
Please be aware that any student details given are confidential, and not shared unless deemed necessary.
