Yr 8 R2go INDUSTRY VISIT

What a fantastic bunch of students came on the Industry Visit to Mc Donald Warilla and Bunnings Shellharbour. Year 8 students had a back of house tour of both places and would sit and ask many questions about the different jobs, positions and expectations in the workplace.

The selected students have been a part of the R2go program here at Lake Illawarra run by Fiona Crane. Part of the program is to explore different work places and hear about different opportunities for when students are work ready.

Thank you to the staff and tour guides at Mc Donald’s Warilla and Bunnings Shellharbour as students were impressed and found the information very useful. The students who attended were excellent ambassadors of our school and asked brilliant questions. Mr Chaseling and Fiona said that it was a pleasure to take them all.
