Student Wellbeing

Some words for parents from the College Wellbeing Team
Do you have wellbeing concerns for your teen and wonder how you might support them through these challenges?
The modern world might be quite different to the one that you grew up in. Perhaps you wonder about how you can protect your child from online bullying and harassment, or how you can talk to them about managing their safety as they are gaining independence.
If you can relate to this or have any other concerns, our wellbeing staff recommend having a look at the parents’ portal on the Reachout website https://parents.au.reachout.com/
There is information and referral options for many different topics, as well as a community forum where people can post questions and discuss their concerns with others.
You are also welcome to call in and speak with one of our college psychologists for specific advice on how you can support your child; 9361 0000
