1B	Hunter C	For applying himself so admirably in all areas of his learning. Hunter’s writing in particular is improving every day and it’s a testament to the effort he is putting in during class time. Well done Hunter!
1C	Felix K	For his engaging writing piece about our excursion to Cruikshank Park. Felix, your ability to use creative, original ideas to express your voice as a writer was incredible to see. You are a superstar!
1D	Luke T	For applying new learning when independently writing. Well done Luke, you have written some great pieces. You are a 1D superstar!

2B	Harper D	For always trying her best and sharing her ideas! Congratulations Harper, you have shown an incredible ability to clearly explain your thinking and share your ideas with your peers. Amazing work, keep it up!
2C	Charlotte M	For her incredible efforts in writing and presenting her JSC speech. Charlotte, you worked through sharing your great ideas with little to no voice and showed such fantastic resilience when challenged. You should be very proud of yourself!
2D	Lilia K	For your excellent effort in all you do. Lilia, you worked extremely hard to create and present your JSC speech, and always apply great effort in class! You also set an amazing example for others with your beautiful behaviour! Well done!
3A	Claire L	For your wonderful engagement and participation with all your learning tasks. Claire, you are kind, inclusive and empathetic in the yard and in the classroom, making you an absolute amazing addition to 3A. Keep up your passion and curiosity for learning!

4A	Ava M	For writing and presenting such an interesting and engaging persuasive speech on why you should be a dog trainer. Your ideas and powerpoint were fantastic! Well done Ava.
4B	Nicholas C	For creating and delivering a creative, interesting and highly engaging persuasive speech on why dogs and better than cats. Nicholas, not only were you able to write with persuasive techniques but you were able to write with voice and create a humerous and entertaining piece. I can’t wait to read more of your writing!
4C	Violet F	For always being empathetic, helpful and showing a growth mindset in your learning. Violet, you are a role model to your peers and you have shown this in representing 4C for JSC this year. Well done!
4D	Jade F	For always showing your Wembley Values in class and in the yard. You always listen respectfully, show kindness towards others and lead by example. PE	Harry R	For your amazing writing about things you know. You used high frequency words and stretched out words brilliantly when writing about your house and swimming. Well done and keep up the great work!
1A	Darcy W	For his wonderful efforts in writing in developing an idea to write about and using capital letters and fullstops in his sentences. Keep up the great work, Darcy!
1B	Zara A	For being such a great friend to her peers, Zara has regularly helped others with their learning throughout the week and this illustrates what a lovely caring person she is. On top of this, Zara has given great effort with her classwork and is a delight to teach. Go Zara!
1C	Enzo K	For his caring and empathetic way of helping his peers both inside and outside of the classroom. Thank you for being so lovely to everyone Enzo - keep it up!
1D	Mia F	For your positive attitude towards your learning. Mia, you always work hard and try your best in everything you do. Keep up the fabulous effort!
2A	Billie A	For her wonderful efforts in writing. Billie, it was so pleasing to see the effort you put into your innovation of ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’. Your summary and ideas were well thought out and cohesive. Keep up the amazing writing!

4B	Neo Z	For putting in your best effort in writing, rehearsing and delivering an engaging JSC persuasive speech. Neo, I was so proud of how you delivered your speech to 109 of your peers and their teachers. You were confident and articulate and your slideshow matched your presentation perfectly. It really didn't matter the result, you are a winner! Well done Neo!
4C	Charlie H	For always putting your best effort into everything that you do! You show a growth mindset in all of your learning tasks and present your work beautifully every time. Keep the fantastic learning up Charlie!
4D	Jayden G	For having a terrific attitude towards your learning and showing others how to listen respectfully. You have been really respectful and responsible this week and have set a great example for your peers. I love that you always have a smile on your face in the classroom and never give up or get down on yourself. You rock and go Dees!

Student Newsletter acknowledgements

We LOVE to hear about student achievements outside of school. If there are any acknowledgements that parents/students wish to share with us and can be celebrated with our wider community, we ask that you email us at wembley.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the student/s name/s, a summary of the acknowledgement and any photos that you would be comfortable sharing and we will aim to include it in our fortnightly WPS newsletter.
