Active Schools Go for Gold!
Caulfield Junior College is participating in Go for Gold in Term 4!
We are excited to once again participate in Active School - Go for Gold, which encourages families and students to travel actively to school. Active travel:
- reduces traffic congestion
- improves safety around schools and
- helps the environment.
Get your shoes, bikes and scooters ready to walk, ride or scoot to school in Term 4!
Student Golden Ticket Competition
We look forward to bringing schools the student Golden Ticket competition which encourages students to walk, ride or scoot to school throughout October. They will be able to record their daily activity on their very own Golden Ticket and will have the opportunity to enter the draw to win a Fitbit Ace (one per participating school) at the end of October.
Glen Eira City Council’s Active Schools Champion
Each participating school will have the chance to be crowned the Active School Champion for 2022 by achieving the highest Golden Ticket activity rate. The more students who participate and submit Golden Tickets, the better chance your school has of winning.
Car-free day — walk, ride or scoot to school on Friday 21 October
Council will encourage all participating schools to conduct a car-free day on Friday 21 October. Students will travel actively to school (walk, ride or scoot) to improve safety around schools and reduce traffic congestion and emissions across the municipality!
