Summer Sports Day
It was another fantastic event at the TOBA Summer Sports Day last Sunday. The teams played hard in their quest to win the Steve Leahy (’78) Cup. TOBA was triumphant overall, winning basketball, cricket, rowing, volleyball, and water polo with TC picking up the win for tennis.
Thanks to all those who arranged teams, umpired games, participated or cooked a snag on the BBQ. A wonderful day for our community!
Class of 1962 – 60th Anniversary Reunion
The Class of 1962 recently celebrated 60 years since leaving school. The group gathered at the front bar of the Duxton Hotel (the old CBC Perth site), which was significant as most of their schooling was completed at CBC.
Tim Delaney welcomed the group and Peter Nisbett raised a glass to absent friends. Many school day stories were shared and a wonderful afternoon was enjoyed by all in attendance.
Huge thanks to Chris Lalor and David Clarke for co-ordinating the reunion. Special mention to Paul Coronel who flew from Melbourne to attend the celebration.
