Parents as Partners to tackle Cyber Safety at home
Technology is forever evolving. Things that weren't possible just a few years ago are now commonly seen in the community and in our houses.
Unfortunately, the same idea exists with Apps on our devices. We are forever playing catch-up with the Apps that are available. The best thing we can do is to be informed about them. If your child mentions that they or their friends are using an app, it's a great idea to look into this app and understand how it works.
There are lots of resources available that explain these apps. Remember, a lot of apps have minimum age requirements as well. Each app should have an online website that you can access which will explain its processes and how they keep people safe.
