Wakakirri Performance

The Wakakirri performance was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday 11th of August.  Our students were amazing!  The small cast of 15 students were commended on their ability to fill the stage and were presented with an award to acknowledge their teamwork. The cast were also recognised for their kindness and the encouragement they gave to the other schools during the rehearsals and on the night.

We thank all of the staff who supported and contributed to the performance. In particular, we acknowledge and thank Daniel Hammond, Alice Wagstaff - Mc Carten and Emma de Brabant for their work with the students to develop the story line, create the choreography and sets and for the many hours spent rehearsing the performance with the troupe.

We also thank the families who ensured their children were at rehearsals and supported the troupe in a variety of ways.

For those of us lucky enough to attend the Entertainment Centre to watch the troupe perform, the hard work and dedication of everyone was obvious as the students filled the stage, putting their many skills and talents on show during their wonderful performance.

We congratulate everyone involved.
