Principal's Report

Dear families,

We recently welcomed Nadia Clancy, Member of Parliament for Elder to our school and appreciated the opportunity to show her around. It was wonderful to introduce her to our Governing Council Chair, Jimmy Chadha during her visit.

We are looking forward to working with Nadia and hope to see her at our Premier's Reading Challenge Assembly amongst other events throughout the remainder of this year.

At a recent Governing Council meeting we met with the Registrar of the Education Standards Board (ESB). The Board are the state government authority responsible for regulating early childhood services and schools. This includes Out of School Hours Care services.  The Registrar met with the Council to discuss  their role and responsibilities to support the smooth running of our OSHC Service.

As part of an ongoing review of policies and procedures in the OSHC, we are currently reviewing the Philosophy statement and developing a new Quality Improvement Plan.

If you would like to contribute to this review work, please email the OSHC service to indicate your interest.
