GRADE 1 PARENTS AND CARERS

This year Footscray West PS has again been asked to make a contribution to the Maribyrnong Primary Schools Christmas Tree Program. This will involve a small group of students from each Grade 1 class (including 1/2AB) decorating a small wooden tree. In keeping with the City of Maribyrnong sustainability policy, all ‘decorations’ for the tree must be items that have been recycled. As there is a short time line for preparing the tree ready for its installation we are asking for donations of the following:

Bottle tops
Beads
Ring pulls from cans
Pipe cleaners
Jar lids
Soft drink bottles
Water bottles
Ribbons
Buttons
Corks
