Introducing our Environment, English, Maths & Computer Captains
Environment
Hi, My name is Chloe and I’m your Environment Captain for 2021! Alongside Kameswara, we will do many things including garden clubs and other cool activities. I promise to make this year as fair and exciting as possible for everyone!
Some of my hobbies include Baking, Art, Origami and Reading. During the year I would like to organise gardening clubs for all of you and know a bit about you, as well as teach and help you to learn about gardening with the help of Miss Jason and Kameswara. I also arrange other things besides the gardening clubs like planting or Working Bees, in which you need parents & teachers to volunteer to help out the school by cleaning up the school grounds. Anyway , I hope you learnt a bit about me and I guess I will see you all some time in the year ! (If you have any questions about this, don’t be shy to ask me, Kameswara or Miss Jason!)

Hello everyone my name is Kameswara and I am your 2021 Environment Captain. I enjoy looking at nature and watering the plants. I always try to do my best and show my best performance in everything that I do.
My hobbies include playing tennis, cricket and doing mathematics. My favourite author is Roald Dahl. I always partake in discussions with other people. I like being very social and sometimes encourage my parents to socialise with other people they know a bit more. I also like action thriller movies. My favourite movie is Aquaman. I have a younger twin brother called Kartik who is Maths Captain. I will promise to make my last year at Syndal South the best. I hope you now know a little bit more about me!

Hello! My name is Diya and I am one of your English Captains alongside Kael, for 2021. I promise to be a great captain and will put all my attention to the work that has been given to me.
My job is to help out at the library and run games club with the math captains. I promise to try my best in all of my responsibilities for the school. I am kind, reliable and responsible in everything I do.
I love reading and going to the library to find new books. My hobbies are reading, writing stories and travelling overseas. I also like collecting things that are special to me. My favorite books are the Harry Potter series, Tom gates and the Inkheart series. I have written about 7-9 stories. My most recent story that I have written is called ‘Ash’. I have traveled to many places outside Australia and within Australia many times.
My favourite subjects in school are Maths, English, Art and Science (Astronomy). I also like cricket, aerobics, basketball and tennis in the sports section. I joined Mount Waverley girls cricket club this year and have played in several matches. I used to play tennis, in year 1 and 2. I play basketball at home whenever I am free. I have been doing aerobics since grade 3. I also used to play the piano last year. I like to draw whatever comes to my mind. I usually draw pictures relating to the most recent book I read. I have recently been getting into drawing animated and anime.

Hello, my name is Kael and I am happy to be one of the English Captains for 2021. I will do my best to be a good captain as this is my last year of primary school.
Reading has always been very enjoyable for me, I have read the Harry Potter series, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, the Tom Gates series, and I am now reading the Chronicles of Narnia series. As an English Captain I have to go to the library and help sort out books and give speeches at assembly, I help out the Math Captains with the Games Club, and I also help the Vice School Captains sort and give out tokens (points that teachers give to students when they do good things).
My favourite subjects are English, Sport, Math and Art, and I was delighted when I got the English captaincy. Even though I am English captain, I love to do math and I try to get better at it everyday. I like to play games. Lots and lots of games. Video games, Board games, sport games etc. As for sport I like to play t-ball, rounders, discuss, and softball.
I hope you learnt something about me out of this text, and I am excited to be the English Captain for 2021.

Hello everyone, my name is Melissa and I am one of your Math Captains with Karthik for 2021, I am dedicated to be a captain for my last year of primary.
To begin with, I enjoy games and logical thinking puzzles, which we will find throughout the math club if we could. We will take responsibility for clubs we hold and respect everyone who wants to participate. My favourite subjects are Math and Art.
I will improve from suggestions and try the best of my abilities to encourage younger ones to learn. I am often a bit of a multiple-sided person, as I get to know about a person, I will try to change myself through their expectation. Although I am responsible for clubs as Math captain, I read books for entertainment and educational purposes too. Skulduggery Pleasant is my favourite series, but I am thrilled to read The Fourth Closet and The Twisted Ones this year.
I hope you learnt a little bit more about me after reading this. I look forward to being a good Maths Captain in 2021, also our last year in primary.

Hello everyone! I’m Kartik, and I am one of your 2021 Math Captains along with Melissa.
I am a kind and caring person, and I follow the school values. Some of my hobbies are playing sports, board games, and art. I like to read a lot and my favourite subjects at school are English, Math, Art, and P.E. I am respectful, and polite, and I try to push myself out of my comfort zone. Some of my favourite things to do are to solve the nytimes.com Spelling Bee, and watch videos about the history of maths and how it came to be. It is quite interesting!
I am always trying to improve myself and encourage others, and enjoy learning about history, and technology. I try to follow the school values at all times, and am responsible.
Some of the things Melissa and I do as Math Captains are running Games Club, helping out in the library, and assisting the Vice Captains with the tokens system.

Hi, My name is Viet and I am your Computer Captain for 2021. This year I will be working together with Javen, the other Computer Captain. I am very excited to be the Computer Captain this year.
I am dedicated to do my job and will put all my effort to support others. For Term 1 my jobs mainly are opening and locking the iPads and laptops up. And also sometimes Javen and I check the iPads to see if there are any problems. I am a kind and responsible person. I like making jokes and playing different things. I enjoy doing math and I am quite ok at it. I love Math, Art and PE. I like playing games or board games like chess because I like games that I need to use my brain. I like trying new things or events that happen outside or inside school. I hope to make 2021 the best year of all. After reading this I hope you have known quite a bit about me. Hi, my name is Javen and I am your Computer Captain for 2021 with my panther Viet the other Computer Captain. I’m ready and excited to be your Computer Captain this year and I will put all my effort into my job and do whatever I can to help others. I joined Syndal South Primary School when I was grade in 1, 2016. When I was in grade 4 I found my future partner and became friends. My job is to lock up the iPads and laptops while Viet opens the laptops and iPads.
My hobbies are tennis, table tennis, lego and gaming. My favorite subjects in school are sport and art, and I like hobbies more in the speedy side meaning to do fast and efficiently. I like having lots of friends to support and having fun, my friends are the best and nothing can change that. I hope to make my last year the best year I ever had. You now know a bit more about me.
