VIRTUAL CROSS COUNTRY

REGION (Eastern Metropolitan Region)  &

STATE (School Sport Victoria)

Well done to those students that took part in our House Cross Country!  The winning House will be announced in this week’s Newsletter.

School Sport Victoria (SSV) and Region (EMR) are now inviting students from Foundation to Year 12, whether you did the House Cross Country or not, to participate in their cross country.  To compete you need to measure out a course (from 1 km to 3kms depending on your age) and submit your time over the required distance.  Entry is via the link below.  You automatically enter both the EMR and SSV events when you submit your results.  The EMR event runs until 26th June but the SSV event may run longer – date still to be provided.

Mullum Primary is in the Eastern Metropolitan Primary Region – you need to know this when you submit your results.  You will also need to enter an email address.

For age groups and distances refer to - Virtual Cross Country Primary & Secondary School Age Groups & Course Distances

You age group is determined by how old you turn this year, 2020.  For example, if you turn 10 anytime this year, you are in the 9/10 year old age group.

Please remember - The intention of this event is fun and participation even though there are times to submit.

Have fun and good luck!!

House Cross Country results so far….

As some of our students are still to email their distances to me this is not the final result…yet.  Final results will be published in the next newsletter addition.  Well done to all of the students who participated in this event. Some students submitted up to four results, each one better than the other.  Don’t forget you can now participate in the Eastern Metropolitan Region and State Schools Victoria Cross Country events.
