Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

In this week's readings, we are invited to think about the year ahead. The Ordinary Time of the Church calendar comes to an end at this point.  Jesus' role is not of an earthly nature but of seeking and sharing the truth about God's great love for each of us - God who sent Jesus into the world.  Next week begins the season of Advent - a time of preparation. Students and staff have begun their journey together by learning about the signs and symbols used throughout this time.

The Spirit of Christmas at St Joseph's Primary School

Although we cannot meet with our dear friends at Eloura Aged-Care, Quirindi, the students and staff would like to do something special to show we care.  Mrs Colleen Wills (CWA) has kindly offered to deliver some delicious cupcakes made by our awesome chefs in Year 6!  We will be cooking up a storm this Friday 26th November.  Stay tuned for some photos!

Prayer Reflection

A Prayer for the First Sunday of Advent - Hope

Great Giver of all that is,

show us how much we have received through your abundant generosity.

Satisfy our restless hearts with the assurance of your love for us,

that we will grow to desire your potter's hands shaping and molding us.

Amen.
