Sport

As the 2020 Olympics Stage 1 is now complete, do not forget that the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics commence on 24th August.  There are a number of different events that are run at the Paralympics and it is interesting to see how some sports are adapted depending on the disability.  The link below will take you to the Paralympic site which has a lot of interesting information. You can even buy a virtual seat to the Olympics to help support our Paralympians:  Paralympic Information

Google Classroom

Have you checked out the BMGS Sport Google Classroom? There are many activities in the classroom to help you with your fitness.

The sports are listed under topics and I encourage every student in the School to accept the invitation as there are many activities listed that you can do from home to keep yourself fit during this time.

Most importantly you should be looking at the summer sport links in preparation for the summer seasons that will commence in Term 4.

You have the opportunity to develop skills across a number of sports not just the sport you usually play for BMGS, so try something different.

Summer Sport

Boys' Touch Football

You should have now received the Survey Monkey link for summer sport. This is due next Friday, so please ensure that you complete this before it closes.

This year, Boys' Touch Football will be introduced as a permanent ISA sport. We are anticipating that we will select a minimum of three teams in this sport, including a Firsts. Be a part of this new and exciting sport on offer and bring your friends along as well.

ISA Athletics - Update

The ISA Athletics Carnival has date been changed to 26th October. All students who have qualified should have received an email with the events that they have qualified for.

Please contact me via email if there are any issues regarding this.

NSWCIS Events

Many events are still on hold and new dates will be forthcoming. This includes Athletics and Cross Country events. Please maintain your training schedule in anticipation of being able to compete.

Please watch the Newsletter for further updates.
