Year 7 Scholarships opening soon.

Emerald Secondary College is offering five scholarships to students who wish to enrol in Year 7 2022. The scholarships will recognize excellence in academic achievement and other areas, which the College has identified as priorities for 2021: 

General Academic Excellence

SEAL

Art

Performing Art

Sport

The General Academic Excellence, SEAL, Art, Performing Art and Sport Scholarships will contribute to the educational costs for the successful students first year of Secondary school. Each Scholarship will cover the essential student learning item fees for Year 7 in 2022.  (This does not cover the cost of camps, excursions and other optional items).  

Application forms can be found on the College website and will be accepted from 9th August and are due by 3:30pm on 31st of  August. 

Subject Selection Information

On Friday 30th July all current Year 10 students attended Future Options sessions, in preparation for their upcoming course selection sessions.  These information sessions provided an opportunity for our Year 10 students to learn more about subjects that they may be interested in choosing as part of their course in 2022.  During the future options sessions, students were able to ask questions they had about subjects that they are interested in choosing during course selection. Information about upcoming course selection and parent information sessions can be found on the Compass newsfeed. 

CSEF

Application closes for Camps, Sports and Excursions (CSEF) on the 12th Aug.  If you hold a Health Care Card and have not already applied please contact the Finance Office for an application form.
