The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) info session

 

This year 314 Squadron celebrates its 60th year in Wollongong. 314 Squadron will be holding information sessions for prospective cadets and their parents/guardians. All  are invited to attend one of the information sessions to learn more about the AAFC. Enrolment is open to Australian citizens and Australian residents aged between 13 and 16 years.

 

 

 

The AAFC will teach students valuable life skills and will help them develop qualities including leadership, self-reliance, confidence, teamwork and communication.

Some activities undertaken by the AAFC include flying, field-craft, adventure training, firearms safety training, drill and ceremonial, service knowledge, aeromodelling, navigation and gliding.

 

The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is an air-minded youth organisation for young people aged between 13 and 18 years. Your local unit, 314 Squadron, is now recruiting. Information sessions will be held on Tuesday 9th 16th and 23rd February at 7:00 pm.
