Newport Calisthenics Club

My name is Laura, I am the coach of Newport Calisthenics Club's Recreational Disability Team. This is a new initiative (one of the first of its kind nationally), and I was hoping to reach out to your administrative team as we'd love some support with our initiative and newly released information package / registration portal.

I am very excited to have launched this team and would love nothing more than to provide the opportunity to more people in our community to join a sport built for them, in a warm and welcoming environment!

Newport Calisthenics Club is a calisthenics club for members aged 2-45+ offering a unique combination of dancing, singing, gymnastics and technical skill, developing strong, confident leaders through friendship and teamwork. We train to increase flexibility, strength, conditioning, and cardio health to promote physical activity and improve the health and well being for members of all ages. NCC's main goal is to increase young females’ participation in sports, and keep these individuals physically active as adults where we introduce employment and volunteering opportunities to promote positive community participation.

I am looking forward to hearing your response!

Kind Regards,

Laura Drossos

Emmanuel College

This week saw the College hold the very important VCE Information Evening. The event was a great opportunity to students and families to come along and learn about subject offerings for VCE. It presented the chance for students and parents to talk about tertiary pathways and the subjects students should consider for those particular pathways. It was very pleasing to see so many students and their families coming along to find out such important information.

Our next event for people to come along to in order to see the College is our annual Information Morning. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from the College Principal, students and parents and also enjoy a tour of the school’s facilities. Registrations are essential for this event and can be made online via the Tours and Events tab on the right-hand side of the homepage of the College website, www.ecmelb.catholic.edu.au
