Performance and Development Plans (PDP) 2023 - Goal Setting

As a school, for the performance and development process in 2023, we will continue to use the state-wide alternative Statement of Expectation instead the standard Performance and Development Plan (PDP) process. Staff or reviewers are not required to complete any routine documentation or monitoring in eduPay.

The 2023 Statement of Expectation for teacher class employees is aligned to the key improvement strategies of learning and wellbeing in the AIP. Teacher class employees are encouraged to consider how they contribute to these areas as appropriate to their role and setting.

PDPs in 2023 will be completed in teams for teachers and ESS. Staff with other positions of responsibility will have a 1:1 PDP with your line manager. Please see the PDP Reporting Lines below.

Please find below your PDP template with state-wide goals for your salary classification with a summary of aligned AIP activities:

In Term 1 Teachers were asked to complete a reflection against the High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) and new High Impact Wellbeing Strategies. To download these documents please click on the buttons below:

ESS will use the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Framework aligned to the Jackson Teaching & Learning Model, HITS and HIWS for their mid-cycle group reflection.

Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) 2023

The AIP documents the annual plan for school improvement priorities and provides purpose for all members of the school community as we work towards the goals set out in the four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP). The leadership team have aligned these key improvement strategies with those in our SSP and FISO 2.0 five core elements and 10 dimensions.

As part of our COVID-19 recovery, the 2023 AIP is focused around the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes and DE priorities of:

  1. Learning – Support both those who need extra support and those who have thrived to continue to extend their learning
  2. Wellbeing – Effectively mobilise available resources to support students’ wellbeing and mental health, especially the most vulnerable

2023 is the last full year of us delivering our four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP) prior to our next school review in 2024. This year we will begin our preparation for our school review against the Framework for Student Outcomes (FISO 2.0) and the VRQA minimum standards. We have already begun reviewing our compliance against all of our school-level policies and procedures required for school registration.
