Projects 2022-23

A) Construction of New Building 

Construction of the new building will commence in September 2022, and is expected to be completed by June 2023. This is a big project to get the building ready for High School, and will cost the school close $$$$$$ to complete. We need your support and generous donations for the development of the school. We want to provide the best educational environment possible for our children and the future generations to come.  

B) Exciting News! 

Taqwa High School will start in 2024! In sha Allah. This is a major milestone for Taqwa School, Alhamdulillah. We look forward to enrolling future high school students in the years to come.

Eid ul Adha Prayer at Taqwa School: 

We had a beautiful Eid ul Adha last Saturday on the 9th of July. It was lovely to see all parents and children at the Eid prayer. Alhamdulliah the day’s weather was beautiful and sunny, everything went smoothly.

School Registration

The school has successfully received ongoing registration from the ACT government, which will not require any renewals after December 2022.

Formal Complaints 

We now have a complaints register for any concerned parents with a complaint form, available at the front office.

Absences 

Parents are required to email about absences if their children are not attending school. This is a government requirement for school records and is checked by the government representative.

NAPLAN 

We have received NAPLAN results, we request all parents whose children have participated to collect the results of their children from the front office. We will notify the parents by email when they are ready for collection.
