Principal's Message

Assalumu Alaikum,

Dear families,

I am the new Principal of Taqwa School. Alhamdulillah, I am very excited and privileged to be part of the Taqwa School community whom I keenly look forward to serving in sha Allah. I thank the Taqwa School community for the warm welcome, and implore the wider Canberra Muslim community to continue to support us and come on board in any capacity to help keep the school moving forward. Indeed, there are many challenges ahead as we look to grow, which we shall tackle together as a community in sha Allah. My aim is always to work together with our students, staff, parents and the school’s Board of Directors to make Taqwa School the best school it can be in preparing our youth for the future challenges and endeavours. The parents alhamdulillah appreciate the benefits of our school being an Islamic school that offers Islamic and Arabic studies. I am pleased to see the teachers and patents collaborating in devising learning strategies to assist the education and growth of our children. 

My commitment to our community is to lead the school with a clear vision for the future which should always place student learning at the forefront of decision making.

We aspire to continue to develop and enhance our school that:

·       reflects the values of our community

·       focusses on the religious, intellectual, physical and creative development of each child

·       strives for the highest academic standards

·       involves the community in learning

·       develops relationships through communication and reflection.

I have an open-door policy and urge all parents to take the opportunity to discuss any issues with me so that we can move forward together and achieve excellent outcomes for all students.
