Primary School Interhouse Cross Country Carnival

Congratulations to all Prep to Year 6 students who competed in the Interhouse Cross Country on Wednesday at the BGS Fields, Northgate. House spirit was high and the cheering and support displayed by the students for their fellow teammates was impressive.

It was lovely to see all of the students challenge themselves to finish their races. They all tried their very best and did themselves and their House groups proud.

Special congratulations to our Age Level Champions and to Ashburn House, who won the Cup for 2022.

QGSSSA Cross Country

Regardless of the very busy schedule at the College this week, over a quarter of our Cross Country squad attended the final warm-up meet at Yatala. On Thursday afternoon, the girls were able to run the actual course, which was great for all, but especially for the Year 7 girls who are new to QG and experienced the course for the first time. After putting in 100% effort on the course, the girls sat down to share a pizza dinner thanks to the support of the Friends of Sport Group. Next week is the final week of training, and we are wanting all girls to attend at least one of the two sessions and the full team breakfast on Friday. The schedule for next week is as follows:
